Man, have I missed you guys! I’ve been wanting to post for a few weeks now, but could not find the time to do a proper post. I wish I had more time to devote to blogging, but this isn’t my full time job and there have been other things that have been keeping me busy. I didn’t want to sacrifice the quality, just for the sake of posting something. I’m still playing catch-up, but things are slowing down a little, so I’m back now and have some fun things to share with you all!
I have a super easy, but of course, delicious recipe to share that is perfect for a last minute holiday party.
If you’re really ambitious you can make the cookie dough from scratch…but I just opted for this new Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie mix. As much as I’d like to say I make everything from scratch, sometimes the time (and patience) isn’t always there.
I picked these cute little Oreos up a few weeks ago. I love the red color, but you could use any type of Oreos :)
I’ll let you in on a little secret – I thought I could use a 9x13-inch pan, but there wasn’t enough cookie dough for that (which I didn’t realize until I already started to press the dough into the bigger pan. So I transferred it over to a 8x8-inch pan and it worked great. You can see the dirty 9x13-inch pan in the background…I just love doing dishes so much I wanted to give myself another one to do…haha!
These were a lot easier to cut than I thought they would be…just make sure they’re completely cooled.
Next time I make them, I’ll probably add some more chocolate chips or other candies to the top for a little extra something.
