I heard about these new Candy Corn M&M's a few weeks ago and just knew I had to try them. Things have continued to be really busy between work and personal stuff, so I wanted to make something that was easy and didn't take up a lot of time. Oh and I love pretzels - I especially love pretzels with chocolate. So I decided to make chocolate bark with pretzels. Yum!
I pretty much made this recipe up as I was in the store. I already had the pretzels and orange candy melts, so I just got the white chocolate, regular candy corn and candy corn M&M's.
I think it took me all of 15 minutes, from start to finish, to make this bark. You really could add whatever you want to it. I chose just pretzels and candy corn to mix in, but you could do nuts, dark or milk chocolate or any other types of candies.
When I make this again, I would spread the chocolate out a little bit more on the cookie sheet, because it was a little bit thicker than I wanted it to be.
The hardest thing about this recipe was waiting until the chocolate cooled (a whole hour!)
But it as worth the wait! It was super rich, but tasted
like Halloween came early. I can even tell you that it traveled well because I flew to northern California for work this week and brought some with me. And I left the rest with my husband :)

DeleteWow this is fantastic! I'm planning on making this for my work's Halloween party.
ReplyDeleteOne question though (and I apologize if it's silly) but just to clarify, when you say 4c of white chocolate chips, do you mean already melted to make 4 cups or 4 cups not melted? Same for the melts. Thanks!
Hi Lauren! That's a great question. The measurements are for unmelted chocolate chips and melts. So glad you like the recipe :)
